Samantha Richert just recently closed Dancing at Lughnasa with Gloucester Stage Company. This was her second collaboration with director Benny Sato Ambush, after having done Hold These Truths at the Lyric Stage this past winter. Samantha worked with the Boston Higashi School in creating the character, Rose Mundy, who is said to have a developmental disability although it is never explicitly specified.
Samantha also recently appeared in Ripe Frenzy with New Rep as part of their New Works series working with playwright Jennifer Barclay on her play dealing with the recent rise and experience surrounding school shootings.
Samantha also appeared in Elemeno Pea with Boston Playwrights this past fall which earned her an IRNE Nomination for Best Supporting Actress for small theatre.
