Samantha Richert

Actor, Educator, Director

Samantha had the pleasure of working alongside Tim Robbins in the second season of Castle Rock on Hulu. You can also see her work as a “Troll Expert” for LastPass among many other digital offerings.

Theatrically, she appeared this past fall as the title role in Deborah Zoe Laufer’s Be Here Now, another Lyric Stage Company which has become a familial location for performing. Her last Lyric Stage production was as Olivia in Twelfth Night in a collaboration with Actor’s Shakespeare Project, where she previously played the role of Ariel in The Tempest.

Samantha Richert recently appeared Dancing at Lughnasa with Gloucester Stage Company.  This was her second collaboration with director Benny Sato Ambush, after having done Hold These Truths at the Lyric Stage this past winter.  Samantha worked with the Boston Higashi School in creating the character, Rose Mundy, who is said to have a developmental disability although it is never explicitly specified.

Samantha also appeared in Ripe Frenzy with New Rep as part of their New Works series working with playwright Jennifer Barclay on her play dealing with the recent rise and experience surrounding school shootings.

Samantha has a special place in her heart for her time performing in Elemeno Pea with Boston Playwrights, which earned her an IRNE Nomination for Best Supporting Actress for small theatre.
